I know i had promised a review post earlier... but i just had thoughts i felt like writing --
*finding myself at the wrong end of the pecking order of life:
- tired and happy
- relaxed and happy
- relaxed and unhappy
- tired and unhappy
*the universe is conspiring to give me a message -- improve your office performance, or die! (now even BusinessWeek is joining the cacyphony of voices...)
*thank goodness for small graces (you know who you are... thank you!)
There. That's it for now.
shoes are a funny thing. each pair carries us through days on end. rubber shoes. muddy shoes. soiled shoes. spoilt shoes. leather shoes. new shoes. this is where i tell their story.

end of another weekend
its just a little more than 12 hours, and the weekend time is over...
good things only last for so long i guess, and i can only hope the bad things last even shorter.
now for some world cup commentary:
- Trinidad & Tobago can kick some ass! Woot!!! That was an unexpected draw with Sweden. And the kind of saves that goalkeeper makes for a great game. Ladies and gentlemen, I beleive we have our dark horse for World Cup '06.
- England and Argentina were expected winners. Though Beckham's performance was under par; just 1 goal for the game, and a free kick tipped over by the other team at that.
- I'm just thinking... if I keep this up... I'm gonna end up watching 9pm, 12mn, and 3am matches. crap. that means groggy mornings and unproductiveness. *sigh* I'll have to start being choiceful about the games I watch.
On other more productive notes... I've decided to embark on language learning. You don't know how helpful another language can be someday. First project: Mandarin.
Next Post Preview: A quick review of Studio 60 and the Sunset Strip (an upcoming Fall TV series on NBC, by the renowned Aaron Sorkin).
